when will energon be released on dvd?

Recommended Posts

does anybody know when or if  hasbro will release transformers energon to own asa complete series on dvd?.

i dont know about the rest of the fanbase but i am downright sick of wating for them to get off their collective butts and actually release the entire series to dvd.

i am asking this becuase i have all but the last 13 episodes recorded to video cassette and i have not had the slightest bit of luck in completing the set in this regard.

i would just as soon purchase a copy of the series in a way that respects the law and hasbro's copyrights and trade mark and what not but it seems they have no initiative whatsoever to actually release it to own on dvd when it comes to the entire series in general.

as for my posting this well i figured i would give it one last shot to actually get a clear answer on the matter one way or the other.

as for myself i would rather purchase a copy of the series legally but if they show no inniative what soever in that regard. well then i'll do what i have to on my part to get a decent copy fof said missing episodes.

i'll avoid going that route if they actually release the series in full to own on dvd.

i'v waited close to 2 years i'm willing to wait a bit longer but if they refuse all together.

well , then i will do what i feel i have to regardless of what others would think of my actions on the matter.

if they are not willing to release the series to own on dvd well then i'm willing on my part to resort to any physicly harmless means neccessary when it comes to me eventually getting my hands on a decent copy of the missing episodes.

i don't want to force the matter if it can be avoided on my part but sometimes you just gotta do what you feel you gotta do.

Well, considering they haven't even had Rhino (the company that puts the episodes onto DVD and Video for the consumer market) release the second half of Armada, I'm not thinking they're going to release Energon anytime soon :tfmad  :tfsad

they released 3 Armada dvd's

they released about 2 energon dvd's

and have currently released 2 cybertron dvd's

in the UK...

that's as far as we get...

Armada has been released, just not by Rhino.  I have this Chinese release

Armada set, and it's priced right:

Hopefully there will be a Chinese release Energon box set like the Armada one

in the link above.

Only problem with the Chinese is that I want to watch it with the American dubbing with the voices of David Kaye and Gary Chalk and so on for the characters because that's how I remember watching it when it aired.  So I don't know if it comes with that dub or not, but I haven't heard that it does, most of the Chinese sets I've heard of come with their own form of dubbing.

The Armada set has the American dubbing with the voices you mentioned.

The only problem one in the U.S. might have is that the set is in PAL format.

Some of the really cheap dvd players support PAL (mine was $32) and they

play & sound just fine.

Yeah, computers plya them just fine.  If you get them, try it in your dvd player, they just might play.  If you still have the manual to your player, see if it

supports Pal.  Alot of players sold in the U.S. support PAL and NTSC, but are

region 1 players.  The Chinese release Armada dvds are region free!
