The H3 is about the size as the Ram pick-up.

 

As the newest Hummer, I could see GM trying to push licensing for it over the other two.

the H3 was released after the interview so if it is the size of the ram then maybe its possible but i see prime as a one off so them doing another large alt is unlikly IMO

if only it was quite that easy as both hasbro and takara wanted to keep all the alts/bt's about the same size and to the same price point. renember at the start of this line thier was only ment to be 6 molds in what would be a limited collectors line ofcorse now its quite a bit more then that (IMO its gone rather down hill now)

This Proves that "Things change". Hasbro has been saying for ever that they are interested in doing more than just Cars. These people are capable of doing what ever they decide. You make it sound Impossible to increase the price range. I thought is would be impossible for Alts/BT to ever exist at all. I thought we'd never have fully articulated real life vehicles that had interior detailing. Seriously, if they wanted to, instead of making Classics, they could have shrunk the Alts down to deluxe class size and gave us Ultra sized jets to make that the main line.

its not imposible its just inprobible it i mean how many kids who make up a huge percentige of sales (way more then us collectors) want to spend $30 on a single 1:24 scale toy hell what parent is going to buy that for them. also hasbro in the EU pointed out they would only sell the alts when the matching car is also on sale (e.g. rx-8) so anything like a hummer alt would never make it out side can/us. also in japan Prime/convoy is part of this KISS thing not Binal tech or BTA so thier pritty much selling it as an other Convoy toy with a PVC figure and renember they even cancelled it at one point. so IMO any large car of a lesser character would be dumped in japan and thier is no one bigger then convoy

 

as for your idea about ditching the classics in favor of small alt stlye toys with jets well Takara wanted to make them CR/RiD sized but hasbro wanted them bigger. so i guess your not the only one who thinks that and i sorta think its a cool idea aswell but im happy with the classics

^Parents buy Ultras all the time. I was in TRU one day and this kid's dad bought him C Galvatron and Optimus at the same time full price. Look at what Commemorative figures were going for, they weren't worth it IMO but folk bought them like crazy.....at first. What if some of the bigger Alts were only available online?

but they were both leaders and big name characters and they had thier own cartoon aswell as being designed with kids as the main consumer and we dont know if that kid is an exception (e.g. rich or its a birthday etc) and as i recall alot of the commemorative stuff shelf warmed as for being online exclusives i dont see how that could benifit them

 

now IMO they should do more toys like smokescreen based on real life race cars and then do a remold into the road car that way they would have another selling point

 

eather way IMO the line is getting dull alot of the new toys arnt that impressive e.g. camshaft look very dull to me
