Beast Machines, how I love thee.

Robots In Disguise was released in Europe.

And yes, BM had its flaws but minor flaws aside the show was excellent.

I do not understand why BM and BW are not released in Europe while the Japanese shows are. Sure people will want them but BW and BM is soo much better and more needed.

after reading this im almost tempted to check it out i loved beast wars and by far its my favorite.

i never saw much but maybe a espisode or two i never really cared for it but then again i guess i never gave it much of a chance.

BTW, what "RID DVD"?

Perhaps it was released in Region 2.

Yup, it was released in britain. There was originally going to be a big box set of the entire series along with the two DVD sets that are currently, but this was canceled shortly before its release.

That would explain it. I knew it wasn't released in the Americas.

i may be in touch with you soon as i've recorded cybertron off sky and putting them on dvd.

That sounds good, since it's not being shown on any of the normal four channels.  I would have to make sure I buy a DVD player that's not only multi region, but can also play recorded CDs and DVDs.  I used to have one like that, minus the multi region, and it was stolen by a druggie along with several of my DVDs.

How much would you want for the whole lot and what's the quality like?  Sometimes recordings usually have some sound and picture problems, I found that out with all the copied episodes of Enterprise I was given, they barely worked on my old computer.

There is supposed to be a Cybertron DVD out in Woolies, it's got the first four episodes, but it's rare in Scotland.  Transformers really should be shown on normal TV, it would be better than the usual rubbish that's on all the time.

I hear you.

They only show crap shows around here. I could easly fill a day's worth of tv with good shows. Yet strangely enough, only crap is shown.

Well here's what's on TV these days and usually:

Football

Football

Other sports

Football

Big Brother

Hollyoaks

Old World War 2 films

Westerns

Football

Football

Highlights of football

Not very funny comedy programmes

Game shows

Soaps

Football

Football

Football

And did I mention football?

Teeny bop rubbish

Repeats

Football.

And once a week, there's Doctor Who, probably the best programme on British TV in years, especially because BBC can't be bothered to repeat it to death when they can show The Last of the Summer Wine and repeats of their not very funny comedy shows.  And then more football.

Honestly, even watching G1 and all of the Japanese TF cartoons has to be better than what's always being shown on TV.  It's little wonder I find paying the bills more enjoyable.

The problem with tv is that the good shows are always cancelled but the bad ones are rerun over and over.

In The Netherlands Jetix reruns the same dumb cartoons every day. Now if they had different cartoons each day there would be a much larger selection but alas that is not the case.

I am just hoping those shows I liked so much will see a DVD release like Batman Beyond had. I would love to own "Life With Louie" on DVD. Man, that show was great.

Nah, it's perfect as it is :tfevil

I currently only watch the Simpsons on Friday (although it appears they've started the re-runs again, so I might skip that) and Doctor Who on Saturday, and that isn't even Dutch TV. Imagine they'd actually air some quality programs...I'd spent more time watching TV (Think I can find a better use for my time  :tflaugh )
