It looks to be the same size too. And for a few bucks less than the RiD bullet trains. Sure he don't merge with anyone, but G1 remake + another alt mode(teh shuttle) = PWNage of the RiD 3.

:roll You knew he was a deluxe. dont worry, he can still hold the whole decepticon army inside his shuttle mode

Train mode is a junker, but the shuttle mode is really nice.  The really winner for this figure is the bot mode, its really top notch and very reminiscent of the G1 counterpart. :thumb

Not a favorite but definitely decent enough and well thought out to bother with. :thumb

 

Personally I really like the bullet train mode. May not be as convincing as the original but still a pretty neat dirrection to go in with it.

 

I also really like how Astro's BFG can be successfully attached to both alt molds. :thumb

I got nothing against the train mode, just that it look more like an after thought than an actual design. Then again, it's as convincing as Optimal Optimus's "land vehicle" mode.
