I really want if nothing else, bumblebee and starscream.

I like all of them except Astrotrain, which is so-so IMO. Damn ELS.  :tfmad (Energon Leg Syndrome)

that he has, but thankfully this is no repeat of E Prowls goofiness.

Pys-Ops warfare baby! w00-h00.

Look at his rifle, precision shooting is what i expect from him now, that and defying the laws of space travel by needing to loose some cargo/cons to make it back to cybertron.

Yeah. Prowl's legs went up his back. that was nasty. I keep saying this, Astrotrain on the toon, the toy and even IDW's comic, never had a crotch. His legs have always come out of his long torso.

Maybe it was supposed to resemble a skirt :tfevil

We'll these look like cool enough toys, way better than most other recent releases,  but I"m going to stick with Alts/BT/MP for my neo-G1 fix.

Megatron is still very much a huge MEH for me. Nothing about him that I like.

Starscream looks more appealing now, but with MP coming out just before this version, I really don't see any need to get Starscream. I'm also a bit put off by the holes in his side and the huge arm cannons.

Astrotrain...difficult. Not too crazy about the color, but the design is nice. Think the cartoon colors would've worked a whole lot better, but that wouldn't have fitted the more passenger-shuttle design. Glaring white is however a bit too much, I think I would've like light gray better. Still in doubt about this one.

Bumblebee definitely has a huge Armada flavor. Armada with posability (if such a thing is possible :P). Will definitely get Bumblebee, unless a Cliffjumper repaint is announced.

EDIT: Now let's get this classic line over with and take the franchise in a new refreshing direction :tfevil

I'm gonna get all you mentioned and these. There's no way I can pass on BB and Megs.

apart from megs i like this line. neon green is lame when it should be red for optics. if i get him (doubt) hi9s eyes will become red

Just imagine all the repaints they can get from the Starscream mold

Also there NEEDS to be a new Goldbug figure

I'm getting megs, despite the neon green(they should have been red or silver instead), I never owned a gun transformer(aside from Sixshot's weak phaser mode) and I was traumatized from that.

I don't see one that I'm bot getting.

Nice updates, but they could have gone further and made them better by using RID design instead of the A/E/C design.

RID design?! What, stick arms, high heels and an car hood for a left wrist? No thanks!

I meant the joints tech used in RID.

Not all RiD figures are equal, even when you're only talking about non-repaints. IMO the Car Brothers (and Magnus and Prime to a lesser degree) are far superior to the Build Team and the... uh, train guys. The train combiners definitely fit in with A/E/C stuff, as do the Build Team guys. And the thing about the Car Brothers is that they were designed by the guy who designs the Binaltechs. So it's not surprising that they're head and shoulders above the other figures in that line detail-wise etc.

So I guess my point is that there's an unwarranted mystique surrounding RiD in general, when in reality it's just three awesome figures, some okay figures, and a bunch of repaints. And unless Binaltech Man starts designing non-BT TFs again I wouldn't expect to see anything matching the Car Bros.

Anyway it was just ball joints and hinges like every other figure.
