If Hasbro UK did that for the UK fans, we would probably get a repaint of Armada Sideways or worse, Armada Scavenger.  All the interesting TF's would be for the US only, as is usually the case.

Tony.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

we did renember rapid run and treadshot in energon man they were fugly

1 choice figure a year would be awsome. i recall thatn SW gets a newyears/X-mass special once

but to be fair most SW toys are based of the same basic body while TFs have to be more unique so maybe a end of the year remold or uber bling chrome, transpartent repaint/remold

but to be fair hasbro UK have been getting up to speed of late *hugs case fresh MISB 20th annie prime*

Perhaps Hasbro figure they *need* to have a Q and A for Star Wars;

It's extremely unlikely there will be any more films, and the only thing that seems to be in the works is a TV show about minor characters in the SW universe.

TFs however are on the up and up profits wise.

This would be excellent for us. If we had this every week, there'd be no Starscreaming

-or-

there'd be constant Starscreaming about the same 3 or 4 topics week after week after week after week...

TFs however are on the up and up profits wise.

With a multi-million dollar film set for release next summer.

You guys think Transformers fans have it bad?

Energon gave us homages of dozens of popular characters

Between Hasbro and Takara, nearly 1/3 (or more) of the 84/5 line has been reissued (of those they legally can that is)

Alternators is most vehicle fans' wet dream

G1 is being completely revisisted by Classics

Cybertron has given nearly EVERY fan a few toys that appeal to them be it beasts, Earthen modes, or scifi modes

You can take the past 3 lines and see a consistant evolution/aesthetic in the figure designs.

GI Joe 3.75 fans?

Until this past March, the line was only available through online outlets

Even then, after the first wave, most of the products have been repaints or minor remolds (new heads, think Cybertron Blurr).

The past 3 lines have had WILDLY varying design teams and brand direction, resulting in effectively 3-5 different lines depending on who's design you go with.

Sigma Six is effectively the Beast Wars of GI Joe

12" Joes are dead at retail, with overpriced convention items the extent of the offerings

It is one thing Starscream about the myriad of decisions Hasbro has made (gimmicks, character selection, etc), but by NO MEANS do TF fans have it bad.  Hell, the only fanbase that has it better would be the Star WArs fanbase.

This would be excellent for us. If we had this every week, there'd be no Starscreaming

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

HA!

the tf fandom not Starscreaming about something would be nothing short of devine intervention.

btw, see my Starscreaming about Starscreaming TFans thread.

imo the only thing that would make hasbro better would be to release soundwave in the uk and the alternators that we have missed (no new ones since windcharger and shockwave)

Fans: Haaaaaaaaaaasbro, when are you gonna make a new Soundwave?

Hasbro: We already did.  In Cybertron.

Fans: No, a neeeeeeeewwwwww one that one isn't good enough!  Also, make Alternator Bumblebee!

Hasbro: We can't.  Germany has refused.

Fans: But we waaaaaaaaaaaant Bumblebee!!  And stop making crappy repaints, except if they're in black, gray and teal, or Prime in white.  Repaint Cybertron Prime into Ultramagnus and give him a new trailer half!

Hasbro:  Making toys that are too identical colorwise is a bad business move.  And if we were to remold him that heavily, it wouldn't be even close to cost effective.  Now, any OTHER questions?

Fans: Alt Bumblebee...

Hasbro: Anything we HAVEN'T answered for the past five weeks...

Fans: .....

Fans: OMG Do you know if Chris Latta and Orson Welles will be playing their roles of Starscream and Unicron in the movie?!

Hasbro: ...That's it, you're all getting another Armada Sideswipe repaint.

i think theyre more likely to repaint armada prime again

Hasbro

Pros:

- Has every character in Cybertron and more.

- More affordable

- Titanium Series

- Transformers Classics

- The Movie

- More Alternators

Cons:

- A couple of missed paint apps

Takara

Pros:

- MP Starscream

- MP Convoy w/ Trailer

- More paint apps

Cons:

- Galaxy Force didn't even have all show characters

- More expensive

- Kiss Convoy double the price and made entirely out of plastic

- Pretty much the toys we've mentioned here are the only ones that are going to be released so far

- Binaltech looks dead

- Still no freakin' news about G1 reissues

- Lots of extra crap majority of TFans won't care about like girly PVC figures.
