Cybertron Metroplex

Hasbro should repaint him, remold the head, give it this alt mode and release it as Fortress Maximus :lol

Now seriously, when I was putting Metroplex in my display case, I thought that those two look remarkably similar. It think it is the shoulder pads mainly, but Metro and Fort Max do have a certain resemblance.

To me, it's the overall look of the figure - not just the shoulderpads, but the chest and pretty much everything else aside from the head.

The battleship mode helps too. ;)

As for the offficial "digger" mode, it does have more of a fortress feel to it than a metro feel.

The play value of this guy is actually pretty rockin'...first you get TWO robot modes, the official alt. mode, and now a battleship of sorts.

Try some of these out for size! Don't know where these came from, but I like a few of them.

I kinda knew when I first saw him that there would be plenty of decent fan modes. I've only done one of them so far, I'll have to try out a couple of more over the weekend.  :thumb

Interesting! I like the pic with Evac using him as a landing pad, especially.

I may tinker with those modes a bit myself, but I am one of the few who likes him as is, officially, as well.

Although, I do keep him in a "Bring it, b*tch" mode with his axe in one hand crossing his body, and his minicon attatched to the other hand.

more I see him, the more I like him.

Definitely has some resemblences to SDF1 MACROSS! Cool!

Those look really good for him, the battleship mode makes me think a little of Fort Max in his battleship and base modes.

just tried that last mode.  (the last pic)  that was awesome!!  can't wait to throw some minicon firepower on him...tomorrow, i'm tired...
