All right, as most people have been mentioning how ridiculous Metroplexes' alt mode is, I have attempted to give him a somewhat passable battleship mode. Here it is.

Now seriously, when I was putting Metroplex in my display case, I thought that those two look remarkably similar. It think it is the shoulder pads mainly, but Metro and Fort Max do have a certain resemblance.
