Hmmm...

The price of the Atari figure is 3800 yen for a figure and a mini BT.

The price for Marissa and Convoy is 6500 yen.

I'm suddenly wondering if Convoy will have any diecast or essentially be a repainted Alt...

Atari is WAY overpriced for a figure unless she's much bigger than the BT* figures.  I'm not much into collecting figures but ~$38 seems outlandish for a small figure.  65000 sounds right for BT* with an additional market.

The 3800 yen is for 1 Atari figure, 1 Smallest Transformer, 1 CD Drama and 1 Atrworks Book. BTAs were priced at 5500 yen I believe. The Convoy at 6500 yen is a step up. The Convoy is also suposed to come with a CD and a book. No idea what is in the books.

Spencer.

The mini BT/Alt looks good, but the wee figure is a tad off putting.  Just what's the appeal to those figures anyway?  They seem more like a pervert's or paedo's idea of a collection.

Tony.

It's simple.

They take an anime looking figure that sells to people who like the anime look on figures.

Then they put it into a pose that can be seen as pervy by those looking for it, or ignored by those who aren't.

These days you're hard pressed to find a figure based on anything with this overall style; games like Street Fighter and Final Fantasy and so on, without the designers having worked something dodgy in.

*doesnt care much for WST, BTA, or the underage KISS girls* but who else is happy g1 starscream has fists attached?

ummmm have you even looked up the stuff they sold for GaoGaiGar? they did far far more

but the mecha and the girls were always sold seperately. the mecha never had to be packaged with lollicon gashapon in order to get people to buy it.

ok granted i cant recal a product from GGG that did that but im pritty sure Gundam has and it hasnt harmed them in any way

the figure is 12 cm seated...it says on the image.  that's almost 5 inches tall.  The transformer looks like it's her toy.  "would you like a transformer with that doll?
