Do you guys often use Ebay bidding programs?

Recommended Posts

Nah I treat ebay like a game. I often just like bidding, not caring if I actually win or lose.

I never bid at the end of an auction on purpose. when I get an itch for a figure, I go find it and bid.  If I don't win it within two weeks, I usually lose interest.

I don't see the point in sniping. I just put my highest bid and wait to see if I win the item or not. If I don't then oh well.

:pfx Though my last couple of bids were run up pretty high. If it's something I really really want say MW Prime complete I'll give my self about a $40 clearence before being out bid. :thumb

If I lose life goes on amd there are always other auctions with similar/same items.

I always snipe - makes no sense to drive the price up on yourself if u really want it until the end of the auction - but all comes down to the individual auction on which method is better or in this case more effective

I've used sniping programs. (There are freebies.)

They work rather well. But it all comes down to whether or not the person before you bid more than you did and to an insane extent. Sometimes, no matter what you do, you're not going to win.

There will always be a shilling bidder, an ass, or a person with an empty wallet to Powerglide you over.

I wouldn't use a program.

If something's rare enough or I find it important enough that I'm prepared to snipe, I'll take the time to do it perosnally.

Not always.

I've bought quite a few things that were pretty much last chances.

Sure, I have seen them since, but usually several times the price I paid.

never used one, and never snipe on ebay, takes the whole idea of an auction away from it, it ends up not being about whose willing to pay the most for an item they really want and just about catching the other guy unawares. sounds odd just dont like the idea of it,
