Alt. mirage seems to be very articulated.

Woah there, wait a second?  An Alternator?  And it's articulated?

THAT IS SO UNEXPECTED!!

To be fair, though, up until Skids, none of the Alternators had "perfect" articulation, always winding up with a set of joints or two that were oddly restricted, or non-existant.

I think Grimlock is equally posable... and as good as Skids' articulation is, he's missing a waist.

Waist articulation is overrated.  It's nice to have, but isn't necessary to achieve nice poses.

Grimlock's hips are on slightly limited balljoints, he has no thigh swivels, and his knees are limited to something like a 50-60 degree bend.  Up until Skids though, he definitely was the most poseable of the lot.

:eek

My wallet's going to be empty soon :tfsad  :tflaugh  :tfsad  :tflaugh

You have a wallet? i thought your mom and family bought all of your TFs for you.

Waist articulation is so needed. I did find a good pose for Skids but it would have been tons easier if he had a waist.

All I can say is GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME.

Ok, I will say a little more. This is the first TF I can think of where I can't decide which mode to display him in (ok 2nd b/c I have the same problem w/ Unicron).

I am equally awed by both the bot and alt modes, so I might be switching him up more than I do w/ my other bots.

Also, I cannot wait for someone at TakaraTomy to announce the BT release date for this bad boy. GIMME GIMME GIMME GIMME.

Mirage is going to be finding a home next to my other Binalts. :tftongue

That's TF2.

Based on the cast of the realted radio show, the BT version may be Hot Rodimus.

The head sculpt does have a bit of a likeness.

Oh no, I hadn't heard that. This mold is perfect for Mirage, and yes, it will be pretty good as Hot Rodimus or whatever as a recolor, but gimme Mirage first.
