Damn, i turn around for 3 seconds and there's 8 pages of drool on this thread.  just wanted to stop in and say HOT DAMN.  And Josh's color on 2005 pwns.  There are about 50 books packed up somewhere, hoping one day to belong on a shelf, that's never gonna happen....

As for Megatron. He looks horrible. The boat sized shoulders are the least of this molds issues. :tdown

No, same one. What I can make out though is tiny long legs, one arm where as the other is an oversized scope, and lastly whatever the hell those things are mounted to his shoulders. Has potential but overall doesn't look good.

 

Prime on the other hand at least looks identafiable as Prime and is properly proportioned.

 

Not saying Megatron is all bad, could very well be the coolest one yet. Just IMO first impressions are everlasting and as with WW Megatron I'm just not impressed.

Wow, I like the look. Reminds of Armorhide which was a cool TF. I like the chest mold and the forearm guns are nice. Hopefull he'll have Armada type feet for more poseabity.

That "WW Megatron" isn't WW Megatron. It's a new, unrelated design. FYI

 

Anyway the difference between the B&W Prime pic and these sketches is huge.... I just think it's cool that after 20 years we're finally getting an actual G1 Megatron homage.

Prime needs a new color shceme for the ages. I think all blue would be better for a new change and the outcome of his position has Autobot Leader should be there, but Prime is just to commanding. He shouldn't have to say everything to everyone...

 

In Cybertron he's just too demanding. He is the leader, but his character position needs to be pushed back some in showing what all he can accomplish. Makes more sense not to ruin the forever Meg/Op in every TF era thing.
