what kind of car is the latest Downshift?

Recommended Posts

Is it supposed to be a real car, or just a similar to old school cars.

First time I saw it, I thought it was an old Monte, then I thought it might be a Olds...now I am not so sure.

i think its just a few mussle cars put together sorta reminds me of a charger with the front has more edges

I wish they had made the hood flat black, but oh well. I agree that it's more of a mixture of muscle cars. It does bring up an interesting point though. How well would a set of retro Alternators sell?

as a stand alone line i dont think they would sell that well out side of the US but mixed in with alts id think they were fine hopfully the new charger will get some TF lovin

I didn't really mean outside of the US. It was not intended to offend, but I was more talking about US Hasbro.

I'd really like to see more classic street cars rather than the little imports.

I can't get all fired up about the Honda's, sorry just not my thing.  Up till they started to come out I was getting one of each mold, diaplayed as robot and car form.  Now that there are some Honda's I only need the one for Robot mode.

thats another discussion of its own.

General idea is its a custom, and not one specific car.  I think that was a very good idea since that gets around lots of fees and copy protections.

I don't think he was offended really. However the fact is, that sales of Alts outside of America and Canada don't generate big numbers for Hasbro.
