Nice pictures, but they got me wondering, how posable is this guy?  I ask, because he's not really "posing" in any of the pictures associated with that review, or in any others I've seen for that matter.  He seems like he's always either standing around, or has his arms raised.  For the record, I'm not counting "arms raised" as anything approaching an action-pose.

Nice pics....Car mode....Cool.....Bot mode....meh, the tires on the front of the legs looks awkward....will I get him.....yes.....I still like Prime better

I think I'll pass on this one too...

Why?

This bot makes me forget they haven't made Bumblebee yet.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

it must suck to be a Bumblebee fan :tfsad

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes it does. I know that Tracks is an extreme homage and the Smokescreen bros. are a great transformation homage. I dont know why it's so important to me but if Bumblebee was released as a Beetle finally, for all I care they could stop making Alts right there. I'd finally feel complete, nothing else would impress me. All the other characters could be what ever car they want them to be but Bumblebee as a Beetle feels so major to me. It's unlikely that it will happen but this Mirage figure followed by the extreme Rumble homage fig, makes up for the absense. When I get Mirage, I think most of the other figs will get the box treatment till I get more space. My "Display One of every Mold" idea is still too cluttering.

As far as I'm concerned, they could have ended the line with Smokescreen and I'd have been happy.

^ I wouldn't. Im greedy.

...meaning that I think the first one was the best one

I soooooo agree. Gimme gimme GIMMEEEE!!!!

http://www.allspark.com/modules.php?set_al...=view_photo.php in this pic, his face looks just like G1 Mirage. The toy at least. He is so beautiful!!

Hey Bain, Does his waist rotate? You kept him pretty stiff in every pic. I cant tell what his range of motion is.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes, it swivels.  His range of motion is pretty good but the test shot was very loose so I couldn't pose him that much.

Thanks. I can see me now posing him now.  He looks as posable as THS 02. I'm gonna have so much fun. *Girlie giggle*

You Sir,....are smoking something.

Smokescreen was good because he was the introduction, but his transformation had all kinds of issues and his feet were the size of football fields.  Each bot since has had aspects of improvements on overall design.  One of Smokescreen's biggest problems was his tie rod placement.  It was in the way of the transformation and the connecting rods on the wheels made it difficult to transform the arms without popping them off.

Each bot we have got since has modified the techincal aspect of the transformation in some way and many times making improvements on the concept.

Thanks. I can see me now posing him now.  He looks as posable as THS 02. I'm gonna have so much fun. *Girlie giggle*

The high knees restrict a little, but no where near what Alt. OPs did.  His armus don't spread away from his body as easily as Smokescreans or Jazz's but they still do, the shoulderpad just comes along for the ride.
