Dude that thing doesn't even look like a transformer. More like some Tyco ripoff.

Now that's a perfect G1 Homage to a nitche character

even his minicon is the same color as one of his Target Masters

my only 2 gripes about this toy would be:

-lack of paint job on the details (it's mostly just the basic orange....at least they can articulate the paint job abit more on the front of the vechile mode...its very dull)

- his lower torso looks really "wimpy" and unbalanced compared to the chest and arms it's supposed to hold support of

his orange is fine but the yellow could have been better if it's a bit less bright

and as for my comment on the lack of paint detail, maybe it's because this is the cheap-ass low-cost hasbro version....letsee what the takara version will look like (if it gets released that is)

There is no Takara version.

Wonder which one's more cheap-ass. The company that released the toy or the one that didn't even bother at all?

Mkay, I'm starting to see why some people hate G1 homages.  Although I never owned G1 Quickmix, and it looks like photos of him were more rust-red and less orange than this one.

Man, that's tacky.  I wonder how much unpainted prototypes are...

What is it with people saying this guy won't be released in Japan?

This isn't like Alt. Prime.. This is a figure that was in the TV series, and predominantly at that. After all, there were only 3.. count 'em, THREE Giant planet TF's... they are going to release them all over there.

well there are some rumors about it being released in japan, but given that the series has ended in japan already, there may be a chance that it will not be released since there is a chance they wont sell if there's no current anime to go with it (it will be kinda like an afterthought thing)

so unless there is an official announcement i will *for now* assume that there will be no takara version (or put it in another way, im just waiting and see)

He only LOOKS small. When you buy him Rita or Lord Zed pop out from the moon and shout "Make my Monster GROOOOWWWWW!" And Quickmix expands to ginormous size. Saves Has/Tak billions on shipping so they can afford to repaint more molds.  :thumb
