Megatron and Prime classics?

Recommended Posts

Megs as a gun, I can take or leave.  I've actually kind of come to prefer him as a tank, because tanks just ooze macho power.  Besieds, as others have said, tanks are self-propelled while gun-boy mostly has to trust his snivelling lackeys to use his firepower effectively (Shockwave the flying giant raygun notwithstanding).  I only wish some of the Megatron tanks had been better, more realistic (sorry but Armada Megs is just too messed up, with too many unnecessary bits sticking out, like all the mini-con "capture" devices--and I could forgive the color scheme on G2 Megs if only he had a moving turret!).  Besides, I never could figure out why Megs had more power as a tiny gun than he did in robot mode with a huge honkin' cannon on his arm...  A cannon at least fifteen times the size of his gun mode...  At least with Galvatron, staying the same size in both modes, one could make a feasible argument that his alt-mode would pack more firepower since all the energy his robot mode uses to move around, is channeled into blasting the crap out of his enemies.  Gah.  My brain hurts trying to justify cartoon science.  Tank Megs good, mighty, macho, kick-ass.  Gun Megs kinda lame.  But I'll prolly buy him anyway :redface

There really has not been a decent Megatron since Beast Wars.

People getting far too upset with this Megatron, the first time he has been a gun since the original toy.  Since G1, he's been a tank, a car, a T-Rex, and various flying vehicles and such.  People need to calm down and just let this one go.

Megatron should be an evil Semi Truck next

and Scourge should also be an evil semi truck

and Magnus and Optimus should also be semi trucks

and each one comes with a differen trailer that transforms into a base or armor or a base that becomes armor

everyone should be trucks I mean lets face it, the majority of  non-truck transformers absolutely sucked, this will totally throw everyone thru the loop

Soundwave could be one of those retarded Hummers that people pay an extra 90,000 to add ungodly large and impractical speakers and to remove it's offroad capibilities

Bumblebee could be one of those small SUVs like the rav4

Rodimus Major could again don the noble guise of a winnebago

This would be better than any Neo G1 line

Truck Wars!

Why are ppl HERE of all places calling Hot Rod "Rodimus Major"?

My favorite Megatron turned intro a race car... just thought I'd put that one out there.

But Prime.......  MEH am I getting tired of that guy. Man! How many friggin' versions of him do we need???

I mean, I know you'd have to have him in this line, but man, I'm really getting tired of seeing him.

THANK YOU!

I can't believe how many people are excited about Optimus Prime being a TRUCK again, much less the 18 kajillionth versions of him that came out before.... :roll

No, No, you got it all wrong.

Optimus Prime, Prowl, Bumblebee, Blaster, Arcee, Kup, Springer, Hot Rod/Hot Shot, Fortress Maximus, Metroplex, and First Aid should be semi trucks with a red and blue paint scheme. Then later on, there should be white repaints of each of these characters plus a trailer for each of them as an upgrade.

Megatron, Soundwave, Starscream, Thundercracker, Ravage, Laserbeak, Tidalwave, Cyclonus, Scourge, and Astrotrain hould be semi trucks with a black and blue paint scheme. Then later on, there should be transparent versions of each of these characters plus a trailer for each of them as an upgrade.

But leave Grimlock as a T-Rex, because he blends in so well with Optimus Prime and the other Autobots in this line.

Oh, and make sure they all gave an useful gimmick like articulated tongues and crotches.

Why are ppl HERE of all places calling Hot Rod "Rodimus Major"?

Because he is not Rodimus Prime if Prime is still alive

Dude, his name is Hot Rod when Prime is alive...

look for that megatron in the kitbash section in sep as glavatron. he looks like a space gun so it just makes sense.  prime rocks! ill take two for me and two for my sons. cant wait!

I could then set up a diorama of Maximum Overdrive and have them running over and killing gijoes and such. :clap
