That's probably the sanest comment in this whole forum.

ok after reading all of the posts so far, here are my thoughts.

for one g1 megs was a gun if we like it or not that is history and cant be changed.  The gen1 neo\classic (WTF you wanna call it) line is supposely going to be a hommage to all that was good in the orignal gen of tf's.  so megs should be a gun.  if you want him as a tank ummmm wait for the horridly painted gen2 neo line. I say lets enjoy the first gun megatron, and if it turns out that he is a really bad bright orange painted toy well It was probabley hasbro's evil plan to keep us from ever Starscreaming about a gun megs again.. 

so far as prime is concernd he looks effing sweet kibble or not. I cant wait to ge one.

my final thought is about redux hotrod (who will more then likely be called rodimus major or something lame like that) I have no fear about that toy sucking.  why do you ask well we'ev basicly already got it and with a cyberkey gimmic to boot *points at Cybertron Excellion*  I just really hope that that rodimus isnt a direct retool of him.

You know, for all the Starscreaming in this thread you have to wonder why some people don't just by the reissues, and lock themselves in a room with the G1 dvd's.......

From what little I can make out (esp of Megs obviously), it looks pretty freaking sweet.

 

The proportions on Prime look good in bot mode and the alt looks pretty realistic, which is always a bonus for me.

 

Megs looks ummm, interesting, and I will, like everyone else, need some clearer pics before I pass judgment, but the gun is definitely based off of the gun in the Judge Dread movie w/ Sylvester Stallone. Not necessarily a bad thing (b/c the movie sucked), but just ok. I really want to see some better pics of Megs in bot form though. I can't even tell what is hanging off of him to make any judgment at all.

 

Oh well, I predict we will get better pics pretty soon.

Starscream: I know I had Megatron just a minute ago, but...I seemed to have lost him *Shrugs* Oh well. I guess that makes me the new leader.

Based on these two pics I'm not too crazy about this. Prime appears to look good in alt mode, but the robot is somewhat less. The top part of his body seems somewhat small compared to the more bulky legs. The kibble on the arms is a pitty.

 

Megatron...well, he looks awful. Silly gun mode, weird robot mode and from the looks of it, e might very well be (part) shellformer.
