never like the megatron gun idea so im not loving this new megs much

prime i like

of corse with such crappy pics it could go eather way

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That's exactly why I'm glad he's a gun, it bugs people like you.

Just let him be gun.  It's no big deal. :tfgrin

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

He's got a point. Gun Megs lovers have been living an empty life of despair and frustration ever since G1 Megs was pulled off the shelves. I'm sure that this toy will fill that twenty-year void.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Even when I was a kid, I never wanted G1 Megatron.  This is more about getting a G1 style Megatron with a decent robot mode, at least to me.

The fact that this new Megatron aggravates people who hate the idea of him as a gun, is just a bonus.

In fact, if people are so upset by this that they want to hang themselves, I'll supply the rope. :tftongue

I'm really holding out alot of hope for this line.  The Megs we all knew wasn't going to be all that fantastic when we saw the pistol design last year, and after seeing this picture, it is a little better than I thought it would be, but it's still impossible to make out any real details.  But the Astrotrain mold we've seen thus far blew most of us out of the water.  But the 3 molds in my book that are going to make-or-break the line, are Optimus, Hot Rod, and Starscream.  Now that we've had a glimpse of the Optimus, my hope just got another big boost (altho the playschool style rifle he appears to be holding is a bit meh).  Here's hoping we get some glimpses into the rest of the line-up soon :thumb

It looks to me like his gun forms part of the truck cab... I see stripeyness on it

BTW these guys both have some funky kibble, esp. Optimus' arms and Megatron's... everything

I repeat megatron hates all fans for making him a gun again.  Unless he can float he's uses in a fight with out someone else.

Maybe he can float?

Megatron hates you and any fans with a stick up their ass. :tfevil

Megatron also has minions to hold him.

More importantly, Megatron wants all of you fans to stop telling each other what he wants or likes :tflaugh

Prime needs a trailer!

If he's not going to come with a trailer, then you might as well make him into something else.  :wtf

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

He's gonna be released twice. w/ trailer and w/out.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I yeah, i forget about that. So it's going to be like energon. One with trailer and one without (superlink).  :clap

Can't wait to see better pics, but so far my reaction is:

HELL YEAH!!!!!

Dammit.  I can't use simple controls.

BUT I STILL WANT THESE FIGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
