I like Megatron. Although I'd be just as happy with him as a tank, there's something inspiring and defiant about him being a gun. It looks like the outside of the barrel splits in half and gives him a pair wings in robot mode.  I sure hope is right arm isn't just a cannon.  Who does Hasbro think he is, Mega Man?  Or Samus Aran?

Well these toys could be for any # of series...could be Movie "Sneak Peek" toys or the Neo G1 line  or hell the series that comes out after Cybertron. Could be an # of things like i said. Plus isnt Sept bout the time the new  cartoon series starts anyways?

Neo G1 is the series that comes after Cybertron. and Megatron's gun mode certainly looks like what was revealed at last year's BotCon.

Hmm, maybe Megs will come in tutu pink with yellow on his arms and legs, his head could be baby blue with green eyes.  His gun in robot mode could fire flowers and rainbows.  While Prime could be coloured in neo lime green with purple stripes, his robot mode head would be orange with white eyes while his weapon in robot mode would probably shoot water.  The revenge of G2, colours gone crazy, common sense gone to pot.

When I first looked at the pictures I was kind of hoping his gun shot water.

I dont know if I like Megatron yet.. he looks kinda lanky from the pics, but, once again said, he finally back to being some type of a gun. Prime doesnt look bad tho, his vehicle mode looks rather realistic. And his bot mode looks fairly well done too.

He's got a point. Gun Megs lovers have been living an empty life of despair and frustration ever since G1 Megs was pulled off the shelves. I'm sure that this toy will fill that twenty-year void.

Prime looks really good IMO in both modes. Megatron however looks like crap. It may just be the pics but the gun mode looks hella cheazy KO bad and the bot looks like Wingsaber with anorexic legs. All the more reason why tank works better than gun in all incarnations.

 

Top props though to Hasbro for trying something new with both characters. Can't wait for coloured clearer pics. :thumb
