I made 2 of these, one was a retool of Megatron jet from MW, and another was a DOUBLE sized version from our friendly Knockoff makers.

 

I happened to come across some of the smaller version.

 

Chopped up the head and nosecone to make it flat and squared.  Notched the wings, added the top booster section, and painted it up. 

 

This still is one of my favorites, so much that I went to some length to get ahold of the double sized fake...which you can now get from the new knockoff RM line of almost as big fakes...with the shining light feature.  Ah hem...first the remake the classic Diaclones I have, now they remake the rare knockoff's...is nothing sacred?

edit:  And I have that double-sized KO you're talking about.  It's actually some pretty durable plastic considering the fact it's a knock-off.  I did have to replace the spring on mine, though.  Far too weak.

It also makes me wish i had the time to get back in to kitbashing.  Oh well this semister will be over in a few more weeks maybe then :)
