I do wish these were put into the movie, they make the city seem more like a city, they explain more on the missing autobots, and WJ doesn't die!! :clap

Well I mainly lurk in the art forums on AS, 2005, and here, but occasionally I'll post outside those art boards.  I think I have posted more on AS though.  I used to be semi-regular on a.t.t., but migrated to these boards now.:)

As for WJ I suppose you could say it was just an animation flub in the actual movie, even though there are two shots of him laying dead.  One's colored red, white, and black though so the flub argument could work.  The storyboards definitely show him alive and on the other side of that little battle area from where the catapult launcher he 'supposedly" died by is.  :tflaugh

I've only seen the other four.  Sludge on the far right, Swoop in the middle, Slag to the left of Swoop, and as the camera pans left we see Grimlock.  I may be missing it, but I only know of the other three shots Snarl appears in the movie.

Snarl does get a brief brief cameo when the Sweeps strafe Hot Rod, Magnus and co. Hes in his Stegosaurus mode. All he does is run away. Coward.

Good ol Snarl actually shows up on screen three times in the movie.  Twice in the scene you describe then he's in robot mode in the cockpit of the Quint ship Hot Rod and Co. are in as it lands on the Planet of Junk.  Oddly enough he's also on that frame of the storyboard too.  :)
