Jesus, I was *so* freakin excited to see this come up on TFormers, but when I got to that bot mode pic I think I cried a little. Just a little.

 

I don't understand what the hell is wrong with the people who are designing these later ones... THE KNEES, PEOPLE! THE KNEES ARE IMPORTANT!

 

I'm totally bummed about that, but I'll still buy him anyway. Just like Prime.

 

It's also a shame the BT/BTA line is so far back... I would prefer to pick up a BT of the latest molds, but not knowing if thier going to be released makes me have to get the Alts before there's no chance in picking them up.

I still think Smokescreen is the best of the BT/Alt to date, he has the looks and the articulation that were promised for the line.  The line after that, while impressive, has suffered from falling apart quite easily and/or not having very much articulation.

BTW, I have like no problem with knees being up that high. it's a Powerglideing robot, not a human. stuff is oging to be off.

Skids would like to have a word with you.  Easily the most poseable Alt. to date, and minus the front seats, is rock solid.  And the front seats only tend to pop off during transformation, due to the way they're jointed, and not during play/posing.

The RX-8s have the WRX beat IMO. They have a smother transformation plus better leg articulation.

 

As far as Mirage is concerned, I dont see Blot wrong with him. You people can no be satisfied with anything. Gawd. If he has a waist, he'll be "THE Most" Articulated Alt to date. Even out doing Grimlock and Skids.

I agree with you T.Man.  RX-8 mold > Subaru mold in every which way.  But that discussion is for another time/thread/whatever.

 

Back on track to Mirage, I think he looks pretty sweet.  Not too crazy about the color scheme, though.  Looks too Decepticon-ish.  And I also do hope that ass-cover folds up to his back or something...
