A city is an impractical alternate mode, if you think about it. Real cities are dozens of square miles in area and there is nothing much conecting the buildings to each other. And what senitent life form would want to spend it's day sitting around, disguised as a city, and having little robot people crawling around inside of you?

Actually if you think about it, he was suppose to be a robot in disguise on earth. So he would have to be a city for humans. So he would have organics running around in him and using his internal pipes for sewage.

What happens to the organics when he transformers? :mwahaha

ok guys i now need your help with something.... i need some artisitc rendering of both maximus fortress and metroplex.... (like thoses made by dreamwave) i have allot for metroplex but very little for fort max.... so if you have some post them here !! at this point what i have decided is that whatever i decide you,ll all be amazed.... lights ,mechanical systems .. and the look and feel of a cybertronian city WITHOUT comprimising the robot mode....this will seriously kickass !!! oh and by the way allot of the city mode will be inspired by the atlantis city in stargate atlantis.....

Hope This Helps You Out anemis :thumb

I think I'll go with Metroplex.

I like Max better and he's more pleasing to the eye etc...etc..., but the toys we have is already pretty good. Could be better, fo course, but it doesn't take much (add some posability and you're there). Furthermore, I mostly know Max through the comic and he's not a city in that or even a huge TF.

The original Metroplex toy, however, is pretty horrid. He's too small, hardly transforms (both modes are too clearly a TF) and has hardly any posability. Metroplex I only through the cartoon and he's huge there.

All in all, if one of these should be improved in city mode, made larger and better posable, it should be Metroplex.

You guys have to remember though scubaboy is doing his metroplex though and personally I think it would be better to see awesome versions of each citybot, scuba's metro and hopefully what well be anemis' fort if he goes that route

hey thanks clifjumper69 for the pics !!!

yeah i know about scuba,s metroplex, but my intentions are to totally redesign city mode to make it more realistic and fantastic .... that is if i choose metroplex....right now i,m dont know how to make it look ...more like a terran feel or a cybetronian feel....for either fort max or metroplex.....

I would like a smaller Fort Max that actually tfs into something other than a city to better realize his comic identity as well.

I'm going to go with Metroplex.
