I was looking at C.Override's gallery and suddenly found some resemblance of another tf character... someone who I think nominated for the most irritating character for some poll... know who is he yet?

Yeah I know there's already a C.Blurr... but somehow I find the vehicle not futuristic enough... plus his body... "upgrade" or "no upgrade", I just find it not suitable for him... what if I use C.Override? what if I swap his head with C.Blurr's??

 

I need some help here... Im not good at digibash... I need someone who's kind enough to help me do a digibash of C.Override to Blurr...

Hey, great minds think alike! I've been sitting on this project for... well... since override came out. Too many bashes, to little time. I was planning to eventually have the full TF:TM deluxes kitbashed. Excellion for Hot Rod, Override for Blurr, E-Stormjet for Cyclonus and I haven't found any good molds for Scourge or Kup. Thought about Dirtboss for Kup, but it just didn't feel right.

yeah actually Im thinking of creating a race team since there's a planet for speed... here's a few "upgrades" of the G1 characters I can think of, using the recent molds...

 

C.Excillion = Hotrod (repaint + alter)

C.Override = Blurr (repaint + alter)

C.Crosswise = Jazz (repaint)

E.Downshift = Wheeljack (repaint + alter)

E.Prowl = Mirage / Slapdash (repaint = alter)

A.Wheeljack = Sideswipe (repaint)

E.Arcee = Arcee

C.Ransack = Wheelie (repaint)

 

as U know, all these figures are around the same scale in their alt mode... I dont really like the idea of smaller cars and bigger cars mixing together...

 

which left E.Hotshot, A.Blurr and A.Hotshot...

actually I tried using E.Hotshot as Sideswipe before... but somehow it just doesnt match...

 

Yeah the oldtimer Kup is a headache... no suitable mold yet... Im thinking why not just get a reissued Kup and add joints for him instead...

 

as for Cyclonus and Scourge, E.Stormjet and E.Sharkicon are quite suitable... My only complain is their size... they are suppposed to be reformed by unicron, more powerful... I just cant stand their size being smaller than the C.Starscream and C.Soundwave...

why not grandpa(breakdown) as kup. I saw a japanise baster do it. He retool the chest to make it look like kups\front window. and the just trimmed up the front of the dragster to resymble kup's rear half.

I saw it on livedoor(japaise site) ages ago.  I'd post a link but I cant find the damn thing.  I think it was the same person to bashed lugnutz(roadstorm) in to wreckgar

Man, many of those are some of my future kitbashes too.

 

I'm planning on using C.Crosswise for both a Jazz and a Prowl bash.

 

Though I consider E.Downshift to be a good enough homage to Wheeljack that I'm not going to bash one. Instead, my E.Downshift bash is either going to be Sunsteaker or Tracks (maybe both if I can get a 2nd E. or U. Downshift)

 

A.Wheeljack does make a great Sideswipe homage. I made one myself, but soon realized that his robot mode looked too big next to the other bashed deluxes. So I am using a E.Hotshot for my current Sideswipe bash. I managed to get the flat part of the hood to rotate and become the robot chest. Still a WIP.

Brakedown is a great little figure for bashing. I already used him for the mini-bots bashes Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. He just wouldn't work as kup for me because he is basic size and I want to keep the scales similar. Hotrod, Blurr and Kup were all deluxe sized originally so I want to keep my bashes consistantly sized.

Yeah I tried to use E.Downshift as Sunstreaker too... reason is because he's able to linkup with the Sideswipe(E.hotshot)... kind of like the bond of brotherhood powers... I customed his head removed his maskplate and gave him a face... its a difficult experience for me since I never try that before... then the painting... the spraying of paint messed up the whole thing... weather's not right temperature too warm... the paints got too thick and bubbles formed... in the end I just put him back into my workbox.... :(

by the way, hey who's helping me to do the digibash???
