Update: car mode pics added to the gallery.

I like it...its what we should have gotten instead of the real Energon Strongarm.

Anyway, the only thing I would add...and I know its probably an overdone nod to G1...but I'd but a white star right on the front hood.

Yeah, I was thinking of name him Energon Hound. He is something similar to a Jeep and carries Alt. Hound weapon. OK, he will be Energon Hound. Now I have to look for a white star.

Thank you very much, Squall.

New pics added to the gallery. Now the windshield pieces are properly painted, and match the color of the energon (thanks, red Sharpie).

I'm still looking for a white star...

pretty cool. just call him hound he already looks cool.

Maybe the star won't look right because of the irregular hood... Let's see if I can find one. Thanks, Doomtron.

Aside from adding some military decals that looks really good. Awsome job there. :thumb

One question. Do you bother pulling them apart or do you paint them together.

I tried Kitbashing C Hotshot and that was a disaster trying to put him back together. :tdown

Thank you, Loki. I have some Zoids decals that will look good. Just wait.

I do dissamble the figures for painting. E. Strongarm was easy, but LOC Hot Shot was a pain. The link:

I don't know if the bigger version is a bigger pain, but I broke three little screwdrivers pulling back his legs. It was necessary because I KB his feet, but maybe I could paint him with all his parts assembled. Anyway, it's easier to paint the parts separated.

It was the full sized. Most of it came apart nicely but the legs had a screw on both halves that was pretty much stripped and I had to pry em apart. Luckily nothing was broken.

Painting probably would have been easier if I hadn't decided on a B/W paint scheme. Even masked the black paint bled into the white. Once I find the motivation I'm going to thinner strip the hole thing and try yet again. :thumb

On topic sorta. The LOC Hotshot looks pretty good and the hands are imo a big improvement. So what's next?
