Almost definitely mangled transliteration.  Unless it's a Va Kana instead of a Ba Kana, it's supposed to be Marissa Fairbourne.

 

Also, Shao Shao sounds like a stereotypical anime name for a Chinese girl, so I'd bet it's probably supposed to be Xiao Xiao.

Somebody hasn't been reading this very well. This is a radio show, not a freakin' cartoon. It's still strange though. Damn, looks like it will just be Convoy and not Black Convoy for the toy.

To be fair..if the seiyuu is doing the narration AS Bud, I wouldn't really be surprised if this is just some fantasy/fairytale-esqe story. He does have a pretty random imagination.

 

As for the time, the Japanese display their times in the military/24-hr fashion, rather than the 12 hr fashion as done in the US and other countries. Only thing is, the only time I can think for 25:00 would be around or after Midnight, I think.

 

As for the clock/time stamps on the TV, I've heard it's for folks that have appointments. If they have to be out by a certain time, they can look up in the corner and be heading out.
