It shouldn't be completely shattered, in my opinion, the G1 Ark bots were rendered around twice the size they should have been.  As I recall, BW Megs wasn't much bigger than G1 OP's head, that would have made G1 Optimus around 75 feet tall.

The funny thing is that the only reason the G1 bots were so huge in BW was because they wanted to emphasize how "mythic" they were as characters.

 

So naturally, artistic license has now become Trek-like canon, as usual

wasnt there an episode where op-op had about 4 maximals riding on his wings? That would make him about the size of an Autobot or larger. But what was said about bumblebees height towards TM2 megs is pretty rediculous. Somebody needs to do a sketch-right now.

The Masterpiece Convoy Booklet says that the average Beast Warior is 3 Meters tall, and that Convoy is depicted as 30 Meters in Beast Wars

I was watching the end of BW season 2 just last nite, I'm pretty sure all T-Rex's weren't suppose to be the size of humans right?  But isnt that what they made Megs as size wise or a little bigger.

in OPtimal Situation OPOP is suppost to be the just a little smaller then Prime...as the season went on...he shrunk
