does anyone know if hasbro going to release a cybertron soundblaster?

Him and a production type Sideways would be sweet.

Well the only repaint from GF thats been announced in the US is Darkligerjack out of Red Excillion, police Gasket, gray Noizemaze, Minerva, Nitro Convoy with Nemesis colors, dark Fangwolf and yellow & blue Rambles so I'd say not likely

If Hasbro is Smart, they will make this guy Here's that Proto pic http://www.TFormers.com/article.php?sid=5493

i think it's safe to say that Soundblaster was Hasbro's idea since SB is missing paint-aps that Soundwave had. if it was Takara's idea, they more or less would have just swapped out the colors but used the same templates.

I just read that he is limited to 4000 so I now I'm pretty sure Hasbro won't make this one but they may do a version with slightly different paint apps similar to the red Exci/ellions

I remember seeing a testshot on Ebay of soundblaster, and IIRC,  he had a mark that said hasbro or something related to hasbro.

Actually, the likelihood is that since GF was long over, the Soundblaster testshot was produced at Hasbro's factories rather than Takara's, to save them from having to set up shop again, especially since Hasbro's Soundwave production would be starting soon.

Also the reason why Takara Primus has a code on the back of the Cyber Key, because Hasbro was also producing Primus for them (also why Hasbro Primus is being bumped ahead to an April - I think - release, instead of the original Fall date, because the factory's already primed for the production run).

Think I'll agree.

I remember seeing this testhot as well. One of the arguments for it being Hasbro, was that Takara's testshots don't leak onto e-bay.  Also, the testshot looks quite a lot like the eventual Takara release (while the black repaints from Hasbro are different from Takara's).

Just wonder: how often have we seen the testshot version of the repaint way before the original version of a mold was released? Not too often, IMO. Most of the time, the first glimpse of a repaint is only revealed sometime after the release of the first version. This testshot was out quite a while ago, but C Soundwave isn't even out yet today.

Wouldn't mind it if Hasbro decided to release a black version, but I'm not sure it was that testshot and I am pretty sure it will be significantly different from Takara's.

(edit: spelling >sigh<)

ok, i just did a side-by-side compairson with Remy's pics of Soundwave and Fan2Fan's pics of Soundblaster and as far as i'm concerned, they both have the same paint-aps except that some colors have been altered. i guess this means that Soundblaster is a Takara exclusive.
