figured if i waited long enough i'd see the day one of these hit eBay, to bad it's out of my range, awsome to see though.

You know Defensor was my fav. G1 combiner, but there's no way in hell i would drop 4k+ for an incomplete G2 version of him.  It's awesome that these rare figures are being put up for sale, but at the price that they're going to command there's no way i can even fathom the amount of money that's going to be dooled out to buy even one of these guys, let alone all 4 or even 8!  Good luck for anyone who's thinking of jumping in, you're going to need it.

this is the first time I have seen one of these on ebay and did you read the auction he says he will list all the G2 protectobots and  G2 Stunticons except for hot spot and motormaster.  Cant wait to see how much these go for.    :tfgrin

Wow. That's too much for me. Even more since they don't have the torso bots for both combiner teams, so good luck to you guys looking for those.

 

I'd rather spend that money on a huge lot then a single plastic toy, no matter how rare it is.

And the price keeps on rising.

 

Amazing that people are willing to spent this much money on a single (small) figure. No wonder I don't manage to buy some of the (pre-)TF's I want: I'm just not willing to spent that much.

 

Really sad thing is, of course, that whomever buys this, can never really use or display it. It always has to remain carded (or else you throw a lot of money away) and can't even stored in plain sight to avoid discoloration or damage to the card.

 

I'm just glad I got a chance to see what he looks like. (on a viewable size I mean)

Motormaster and Hot Spot are not known to have ever made it as far as packaged samples. If they had, one would probably have shown up by now.
