Does anyone know for sure where the convention will be held (it is still planned for the last weekend in July correct?)

nope, doesn't say a thing about it's location. It just says Chicago. That's doesn't help much, and I live around there.

I see the names of the two hotels that are offering group rates, but nothing about venue location

I hear it's across the street from where they did it last year, the Hyatt

the donald e. stephens convention center i believe is the location.

Yes. All the hotels are within what... Two blocks? Of the convention center. The doubletree (I think?) is connected by air-bridge.
