Cybertron Excellion (Red Hot Shot) Review & Pics

Recommended Posts

My son has been ordered not to put his new TFs into his toy box. He`s 8 so he likes to have them on display just like his old man any ways. But yeah his older ones are in there somewhere and I doubt they`ll ever see the light of day again unless I reorganize his room again. Maybe my next 5 days off, if I take off another 2 or 3 on top of the 5 I`d have have off. :tflaugh

But I digress this is a much better look than the original Hotshot. I wonder why they didn`t just do this one to begin with.

I've given up on straightening up the kids mess. I don care what it is it's getting crammed in the toy tox. C-Redalert is the star of the house lately. I barefoot stomped him, laid on him, trip over him soooo many times.

C Hot Shot did have molded emblem on the hood because a month after I bought mine, the paint started to chip away. So I bought another one and took him back. I assumed my new one to be like this to but I just looked at it and its just tampoed on. My Excellion is also tampoed. Im sure it was a running change to fix the paint chipping problems

Well, at least the emblem on the shoulder is Molded.

Got it today, removed the gold paint & switched the wings. was going to do some painting but got lazy...

Just out of curiousity, what did you use the remove the paint?  Looks good, BTW.

I've found that if you compare Excellions in the store, you may find one with darker red doors.

alcohol...

Wow, looks good. The blue wings definitely fit well with the original color scheme, and the yellow wings go perfect with Excellion.

Does anyone elses have a two-tone look? It looks like the doors were painted some glossy red color, but the rest of the car is DULL red plastic. Or..is that just mine?

well that's what happens with red paint on plastic versus red plastic i guess.

anyone get their key code to work?  Mine didn't.
