Astrotrain Remolded Figure Pics?

Recommended Posts

You misunderstand.  I am speaking from personal experience.  As a kid, I would have thought that a bullet train was pretty cool.  I never said that anyone who likes the bullet train is being childish.  It's just that there's not much to the bullet train's design, outside from causing a, "Wow! That's cool!", reaction.  I think that the bullet train is rather weak as a stand alone alt-mode for Astrotrain.

Funny, the design screams "Wow, that's not an out-of-date train design!" or "Hey, it looks kinda futuristic and/or alien..." to me. And having an ancient train design(locomotive) or a semi-modern design(freight) won't seem right with a futuristic passenger shuttle second alt mode, IMO.

The mode might not have been suited for an option for Astrotrain's train mode in the past, but considering that both alt modes should look like they're from the same era, the bullet train look fits perfectly.

Japan has had bullet trains since the '80s, maybe even back into the '70s, but I am certain that they had them during the 1980s.

The bullet train is just weak looking on it's own, that's all I'm saying.  It's too sleek, and too clean looking to be a stand alone vehicle. There is no uniqueness to the form.  Maybe it'll look better once we see a painted version of the toy, but right now is just plain dull looking.

That's not saying much.

Speed does not equal strength.... :usa

Why're you attaching that pic to every one of your posts...?

It's not that the bullet train isn't neat, it is, in a childish, "Oooh, that so cool!!!", sort of way.  I think that the locomotive itself doesn't look good as a stand alone piece.  A freight train's locomotive is unique looking enough that it can be stand on its own.

Figures that someone would think another's opinion is childish...

You mean this :usa Because the United States Is the best nation on God's green Earth, and I love Her.... :thumb

:usa Not bad but I liked the old Astrotrain better,They should of made his train form a BNSF freight train rather than that weak looking japanese Bullet train but It's not bad.I will probably buy it anyway.

Agreed.  I don't think that the bullet train locomotive can stand on its own.  A freight train locomotive would have been better for a stand alone train like this.

You said it Brother,I totally agree. :thumb  :usa

No I don't, because I don't have ignorant naive american pride(even though I am one). And this has nothing to do with this subject...

And you don't have to double post to quote more than one person. And you didn't answer my Q about your siggy...

I think he wondered why you keep attaching it with each post instead of just having it as a sig.

Also, he didn't say he hated America, just that he didn't have ignorant naive American pride.

What, just because I don't worship the country, I should leave? You need a reality check. America has twisted morals, beliving that when it comes to crimes and sickness, there's just "black and white"(either your born an evil killer/rapist or your not) and your children have no decipline(proof is in television; countries like Japan have almost anything on TV and there's less crimes... america cuts EVERYTHING from their shows to "keep their children innocent" and there's more nutcases and anti-socials here too)

And why not just use the Blitzwing pic as your sig then?

I`m wondering if anyone has bothered to explain to the noobie how to edit his signature with a picture. I feel for our new friend so I`ll be sending him a pm right now.
