Armada, duh. The animation was horrible, there was no action whatsoever, and it revolved around those annoying kids and their friggin minicon partners. There idea of a fight seen was two TFs standing there, facing each other, rush each other, a flash, and then they stand there, and one falls. It's like, what the hell? That's not a fight! Even during the Unicron battles, there was little action. The final fight between Megatron and Prime was a joke. Beast Machines may not have been as good as Beast Wars, but Primal's final battle with Megatron was friggin awesome. And even though R.I.D. was corny and full of slapstick, they actually had action that consisted of the TFs actually moving and fighting each other. At least R.I.D. wasn't trying to be serious. The only saving grace for Armada was the comic, which actually focused on the TFs themselves, not the kids. The focus was also on minicons like Sparkplug and Leader-1, and they actually talked. But the Armada cartoon was my least favorite. Thank Primus for Energon though.

Generation 1!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!! I was joking! Please don't hurt me. I'm sorry! please, please don't......

Sorry had to go with Armada..... It was mind numbing.... the kids were terrible.... With RiD you knew they weren't trying to be serious.... It was a CARTOON. Armada........ Tried to play serious and failed.... don't watch Energon.

G1 and The Beast series were the 2 best..... G1 for nostalgia and Characters Beast era for story lines and CHaracter development......

Except for Beast wars don't really care much for the shows, the Comics did it all for me. I didn't see the BM on TV (probably because they didn't show it ) and RID. Seen Armada Wasn't the best show, I dunno which I didn't like

I voted for Armada. RiD knew that it wasn't a serious show and acted accordingly. Armada just wasn't good. I don't know how to put my finger on it exactly, but something wasn't right. It might have just been the abundance of errors that by now I would hope would be cleared up in cartoons.

The series that I could not stand was Beast Mahines. It had nothing to do with the storyline. The thing I could not get past was the battle scenes were nothing but them jumping around and posing with their weapons. It was the same stupid battle scene for every fight in the entire series.

G1 started it all, and will always have a spot in my heart...but Beast Wars is hands down the greatest show in terms of story quality.

Beast Machines is the worst, because it took the glory that was Beast Wars and strangled it to death. The Maximals morphed, Cybertron was organic and the villians were silly...not to mention Rattrap on wheels and Primal turning into some sort of hippie...bleh.

RID and Armada I could take or leave...Energon makes me smile.

Armada was the worst, in my opinion. Here's why:

The Cartoon

The animators used stock footage CONSTANTLY. There didn't seem to be an original frame in some episodes. The script was flat, predictable, and boring. The writers didn't seem to be trying very hard to make the series popular. They probably figured "if we combine transformers + pokemon = instant hit!" This was not the case. The animation was some of the worst we've ever seen. There didn't seem to be a set animator for the series. Each episode looked like it was drawn by a new person...with water color paint and crayons.

The Toys

Now mind you, i'm an avid collector, but i pretty much skipped out on this series. It only took one look at hotshot to irk me away from Armada. The toys looked like they had been made for 3 year olds. They were EXTREMELY uncomplicated. Optimus Prime's trailer transformed itself for god's sakes! That is the acme of laziness in my opinion. I have always hated transformers that transform themselves. The point of a transformer is for you to transform it WITH YOUR OWN TWO HANDS.

Now, the toys released later in the series were a bit of an improvement. You have Jetfire, Supercon Prime, Overload, etc. These toys were good, but they still looked like they were designed with 3 year olds in mind. The only toy i bought from the Armada line was Supercon Optimus. I only bought it because i'm trying to buy a prime from each series, and i wasn't about to buy that hulking POS auto-transforming prime.

I can't comment on the comics, however. I don't buy comic books much anymore. I used to buy the G1 comics, but then i had a housefire and they were all destroyed (yes, i was heartbroken). Since then, i've never really been able to start collecting comics again.

I actually like RID, to me its storyline resembles G1, with Autobots winning each battle against the Predacons and Deceptions in each episode, although stupid at times, but very funny. Sky-byte is hilarious. The dubbing was very well done. As for yelling "Transform" and "Terrorize", most Japanese TF shows do that.

Toywise, it was Armada. There were very little of the toys that actually appealed to me, short of the Minicons (and even then, I've only really bothered with the Energon ones, plus the odd partner ones, and the set that comes with U-Ramjet). Show was decent, though.

Show-wise, it was Robots in Disguise. Just too goofy for my tastes, didn't feel like Transformers to me. The exact opposite of Armada, toys were good, show wasn't my cup of tea.
