by completely new I mean absolutely no ties to G1 whatsoever except for the whole transforming thing and MAYBE Cybertron.

that includes no Optimus, no Megatron, etc.

If it's well written and decently animated, I'd go for it.

yes

I'd be all over that.

I would be cool with it, as long as it they stuck with the no ties to other series and don t decide to connect it to one half way through.

I would like to see a new continuity, yes, but I'd like to see Optimus Prime and Megatron in it. Not like they are portrayed now, but perhaps more distant, more like a true leader of an army. Instead of being in the heat of battle, planning tactics and strategies from HQ.

I wouldnt mind if they did that but it would require some serous creativity on the part of the people writeing it.  I could also see the net in a horrid about it as well.

I wonder how it would sell with the kiddies though

and don t decide to connect it to one half way through.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That would be really evil if they did, though. :mwahaha

Make it so

sure, why not?  no kids, wheelie, hot rod. sounds good already. but I would like more complex body desighns. like a mix between Starfox Assault [contrast in colors that complement i.e. blues and whites, reds and black, reds and yellows. sharp shapes and dynamic surfaces]Macross[spiffy mech design], Neon genisis evangelon [strange, ailen, and disturbing at times design of mechs], Gundam Seed [immence detail toy wise, nice dynamic surfaces of mechs, uniqe alts, abundance of verniers and stabilizers makes a nice future-ish impresion] Mission Front 4 [dynamic, mature story], and Armored Core [good mech designs].

also, there should be more in depth in the inner workings of the transformer culture and their history and stuff, like the level of detail found in star wars.
