Also, I love the Hotshot. I'm not sure if it's the same one but there was one at a OTFCC I was at and I thought it was cool then.

Also, TFMaster...I love your rendition of Armada Wheeljack from Alternators Prowl...its exactly what I was shooting for with mine...until I ran into some complications.  Now that I've seen yours though, I've shelved mine for a little and started my Armada Starscream project.  But absolutely awesome work!

Well, it's not much, but this Diaclone Sunstreaker custom is all I have to contribute to this thread.  Technically this was my second custom ever.  He is a parts bot from my first custom, Hot Pursuit (I completed both in early Jan. 04).  When making Hot Pursuit, I had just a bunch of junk parts left over.  Waiting on HP to dry, I decided to just salvage this guy.  I didn't feel like doing anything dramatic so I just added the stripes and the gold paint apps to the chest. After I found out the yellow Sunstreaker was going to be coming out, I thought about trashing this custom into something else.  I just couldn't do it.  He's really grown on me :tflaugh

 

Anyways, I hope you guys didn't think I was making a big deal about Diaclones, but I didn't want to randomly post then it be like "um that's 'G1'!"  Anyways, enjoy!

Shouldn't the title read "BW/Armada/etc. homage/s using alternators"?

 

Wouldn't Alt. homage be anything that resembles an alternator and not the other way around?

 

Like Energon Rodimus is a homage to a G1 character....hence a G1 homage and NOT an Energon Homage.

I'm really excited to start seeing homages other than G1...way to go guys. :thumb
