All these theories remind me of the fan written theories on why the Klingons had smooth heads in TOS but ridged heads in the movies and the newer series while it was simply a matter of make up developments.  :tftongue

 

Still people came up with the most crazy theories even saying there were Klingon/Romulan hybrids. Finally the issue was adressed in Enterprise.

 

If they were ever to make Transtech in the US and established that Cybertron had once been destroyed, I will consider it canon. Untill then, the Japanese cartoons are a seperate continuity to me.

 

I think both the Xeno-Genesis story and the The Reconstructionalist Theory sound pretty  far off. I think the main reason why Rodimus, Kup and Blurr left was to get them out of the way. They were not part of the new cast/toyline and only took up air time.

 

I am not sure if the story was meant to be followed up on but given the quality of cartoon writing both US and Japanese, I somehow doubt it.

 

In any case, I still feel BW is a continuation of the US G1 show and not the Japanese shows.

ruru - first of all, it was XBob who initially stated that Cybertron was in Battlestars. I later concurred with him - and since then I've gone back and re-read my Battlestars manga (earlier today).

 

Secondly, what else do you expect people to do outside of stating canonical facts or making theoretical presumptions??? Really?! You asked a question, I answered with, "well, the facts are A, B and C, and from these facts the following theories COULD be true." That's how rational logic works. We observe, we gather facts - where there are a lack of facts we make theoretical presumptions based on the actual facts that we have observed - but the facts and theories are always clearly labelled so that they are never confused for each other. For example, gravity is a fact, the Big Bang is a theory - whether you agree with the Big Bang or not is irrelevant, it is a theory based on actual observed science. What else do you expect people to do?

 

Thirdly, correcting your spelling is NOT a personal attack. You may have chosen to go all emo and take it personally, but it's not. A personal attack is a character assassination, like if I were say stuff like, "you're a dick," or "you're sad," etc. Those are examples of personal attacks. Criticising your actions is NOT a personal attack. It is not an indictment of your character.

 

That's all I have to say to you about this in public... the rest I shall discuss with you privately, which is where all personal grievances belong. (-_-)

the personal attack was on my choice of abbreviation - u started that not me - but I see u have held the notion of using the word emo for two days str8 now as supremely clever and insulting - that is cute - u ignored the issue and went after spelling - remember - I can paste for u but just read up - u insulted my abbreviation then went right into another subject - that is dismissive and it did make me mad - esp from someone I have seen post on this board before with valid information.  I feel I was in the right to get angry - I could be wrong - and I don like to get mad - but I felt u deserved it as u have still not apologized for acting like a spoiled little kid.....u had trouble admitting u were wrong and u still are having that same trouble - how many posts before u offered any explanation to what u said?  I count more than two.....

I was the one stating facts - u were mostly insulting my posts never stating any facts - in the end u jumped on some fanfic to argue your point - all I was asking for was an explanation - until I got angry and came back at you for your accusations of my "spelling" and by that I mean abbreviation - I came back and called u sad and a dick - I also called u a dick here again - u r acting like an elitist stuck up kid - that is most likely why u refuse to share anything and went and read your battlestars manga in private - u were wrong - str8 up - sorry but u were - everything we have talked over here says u were - we were discussing canon - what I said was if canon took place was this series possible in jap continuity - no it was not - unless anyone else has any evidence contrary it could not have unless we start on the fan fic bandwagon - the gist of this arguement was u not admitting I was right cause in the course of this back and forth bantor u have grown not to like me - and I cannot believe u have had the manga this whole time - that says alot about your character....what I have I have shared - I will gladly share any of the DVD's I have with anyone who wants them - they are fansubbed stuff and nothing illegal - I want everyone to know - u seem to want to hold a power on the boards so u can post as mr know it all - this is also evident how mad u got when u were wrong - but u were wrong - I guess in the post u do admit it at first - then immediately contradict yourself and go back into - I was defending my point - no - u were tailoring canon based on events that do not "add up" to support your side - what u should have done was just said sorry - I was asking u and X-bob and the rest of the boards as I considered the two of u knowledgeable - I post here cause there are people that know what they are talking about - I was attacked first - and in the end I was completely right.....

 

I have never gotten angry on these boards or even got into an argument - but I have not posted a thought like that before - I guess if u think of something before the smarter ones on the board u fall out of favor huh? lol.....
