Saw it earlier, very nice. Early test shot, notice the lack of clear plastic.

Tracks was a bit of a let down, but at least he's still a Corvette.

Jazz (c'mon we all know it's Jazz) as an RX is an INSULT. He was a Racing Car, and now he's a slightly faster than normal ordinary enough street car.

(I like the RX8, but compared to a Porsche it's no contest)

The transformation is also very simplistic.

I think the line has run out of Steam already.

That looks more like something out of Energon than Alternators... that's *real* simplistic compared to the others. Plus, it looks a little small.. though it might just be the lack of scale in the picture

Why is it that the people who can obtain these protos always take piss poor pics of the figure. I think they wanted to keep the robot mode close to the original Jazz. That's why they went with that transformation. He looks to be more posable than smokescreen.

I think that picture was taken in the factory! The lack of clear windows is because its a serious proto, not even close to being finished.

The hip articulation looks vastly improved compared to Smokes, But I am a tad dissapointed at the transformation scheme being the same. I'm saving my money for a dead end anyway.

....and whats wrong with the transformation, isn't that how most of the G1 transformers transformed?

I don't think this is an alternator. I'm not sure why, but this just doesn't feel right to me.

It Honestly looks like someone made a plastic model based on the animation from the Mazda web site.

His scale looks off because there's no reference objects in the pic. He looks squat because of the pose. He lacks clear windows because he's an early test shot.

The quality of the photographs and the early state of the toy shouldn't turn you off of it. At the very least reserve judgement until the bells n whistles version shows up.

I'm inclined to belive it's the real deal because tfkung has sold many protos before. http://cgi6.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...&sort=3&rows=50
