Toy Fair: Alternators Mirage, Optimus

Recommended Posts

Um, those leg pieces flip and rotate so everyone can decide which is their 'right' way. Personally I do prefer Bainreese's way and I would imagine that would be the actual way it was intended... although I'm sure Hasbro will have it the 'wrong' way on the instructions.

And it looks like his back piece is up more.

Alt Mirage: Great Alt mode...the BEST! ...arguably the WORST bot mode of them all.

( i hope it looks better in when we get our hands on it)...i hope it is just a bad pic)

Alt Prime (orion pax): Great Alt mode

looks like they didnt put down primes grill thing...

Mirage looks kinda googly - but i am sure i will love them both when i get them.

Mirage's car mode is just pure orgasm though.....

i think its funny that Hasbro feels the need to keep pushing the weak "jeep repaints" as UPANDCOMING!!!! at toyfair....

sigh

I'm definitely feeling the same about Mirage. The head mpold and arms look fantastic but the chest plate is overly bulky and the legs look mistransformed. Mirage though will probably be the best in the Alt line once the bot mode recieves some minor tweeks.

Alt Prime still looks bad, and by the looks of it they had trouble fitting his alt mode together properly. Hasbro should reallyu go out and find somebody capable of posing these toys properly Not one of them looks worth buying based on these pics. The only way you would think either Prowl or Skids were worth getting is if you had them in hand so you could pose them transform/properly.

i am remembering the hideous "prowl" pics from last year.....

That's the only exception. He was transformed exactly how Hasbro intended and looks like crap unless the legs are either swaped or simply turned around. Doing that alone will balance out the figure nicely. I don't know yet if the same can be said for Optimus and though I've alread said he sucks I'll remain optimistic until I have him in hand. :thumb

Hmm the more i look at the pix, his legs do look a little off, but i think thats overall how he's going to look.

I just really hope he can bend his legs without making modifications to him like we had to with Alt. Prowl.
