I like Megatron, but Primal is a little weird. Better pictures over at tfw2005.com

 

I would rather get a LM version of these guys though from Takara. Like a Clear Megs, that would be awesome, cause I don't like the purple pinkish color scheme.

The face gave me the same impression. I find it funny they gave Primal a beard though.

 

As for all the hate I'm actually surprised to see Primal can actually form a gorrilla. The lack of kibble in bot mode is a nice change. Articulation also looks fairly decent, and the head mold looks fantastic. :thumb I can't understand people saying they don't see these new molds fitting in well with the rest of BWs line. What did you expect, BWs redux? That's what Takara's were for. besides these are obviously meant to tie into the Cybertron line and I've said that from the beginning so no surprises here. :roll

I like the Megatron, but I don't much care for the Primal. It looks like Primal transforms similar to the deluxe BM Primal.

BTW Primal and Megs are being sold in the BW reissue line, not Cybertron. Though I have to admit they rather belong in Cybertron. They certainly aren't anything at all like "robots with organic beast modes".

Extreme Cybertron variations as was done with Primal and Megs. They would've made excellent additions to the Cybertronian beastformers and would've been cooler than rereleasing the original molds. Nostalga whatever it's based upon has never really prompted me to buy anything and that's really all the 10th aniversary figures have going for them. That and there cool characters which was enough for me to stupidly drop 40 CND on both Waspinator and Cheetor. :tfmad 

BW Primal and Megs look.......interesting.  They are not "god-like", that's for sure (at least IMO).  Megs looks the best of the two.  I will be getting them though.

 

BM Primal (deluxe) is still the ugliest version of the character.  This version is much better than that atrocity.
