AmI the only one who doesn't have any interest in Transformer mechendise that doesn't transform?

 

TFormers.com has all there news stories on chess sets, snow globes, and metal monuments, and palasides going under.  I can't say I really care about any of that.  If I am going to have Optimus Prime sitting on my mantel, I want one that turns into a truck, not one that stays in a fixed pose.

 

Maybe I've been spoiled by Takara and Hasbro, but I don't think I could ever justify buying a Transformer that doesn't transform....

 

This only holds true for statues, etc, because I have a lot of other TF merchendise like shirts, but even then.  Shouldn't they make a shirt that can change from the autobot logo to the decepticon? lol

I agree plus MP prime looks just as good as any statue plus it transforms and costs less (well that depends but most busts and statues cost $100+ it seems)

No Transform, no buy, unless it's things like clothing etc.  But even then it should transform.  They have shirts that have lights, so why not make it so that you have the designs of the logos on the shirt, and where they cross over as far as the lines are concerned, have the LEDs have a two color function (Red/Purple).

How many people display MP Convoy / 20th Prime in robot mode and never touch him again?

 

 

well anyway I love the Takara PVCs because they actually are show-accurate. They're the best visual reminder of the cartoon that there is IMO.

 

And plus when you're a BM fan like I am, you learn to favor non-transforming show-accurate toys over transforming non-show-accurate ones...

I like all the non transforming realated stuff! I have all the Hard hero Busts and statues of G1 figures. I have most of the G1 japanese mini PVCs, and i have all the hasbro heros of cybetron PVCs.  I also have the Takara Mega PVCs of Megatron, Starscream, Rodimus Prime, and both anime and metallic Prime! I also have all the original G1 Japanese Decoy Box Sets :-) I have the G1 board game, a few g1 3d 'Transformable" puzzles, lunch boxes, head bobbers, airfreshners, stickers, original books, posters, lithographs...:-)

 

The only thing i want and dont have is the train set and I wish the Made a Mega PVC of G1 Galvatron :-(
