Energon Shockblast gallery

Recommended Posts

and the robot hyper mode is the solar panels on his back,go my gallery and look the 3rd pic.

So, his hyper mode is becoming environmentally sound? The Decpticons are getting less and less evil. j/k

I'm hopin' that the solar pannels will be used like in Gundam X.

Ratbat's behind this....

Anyway, I like the head, looks like it came from Armored Core.

Pics: Top left: Transtech concept art for Shockwave (alt mode was an elongated car a bit similar to the tank mode in Energon).

Top Right: energon Shockwave.

Bottom Pics: Custom Shockwave made by and courtesy of, a fellow TFans poster, Deigatakadatron (or however you spell his name!). It was made from a Beast Machines/Universe Tankor and customized.

awesome!

But the vehicle mode is stupid. :redface

I'll just buy him for its robot mode. I don't know what's happenin over there with the ones who design TF, but why the hell are they making their heads visible in vehicle mode? :tfmad

The same reason they designed Armada toys with generation 1 poseability, duh

:tftongue

I think he looks kinda nnnnaked withouut the full body purple paint. I also think thhat they sshould have done more with articulation and hiding the head instead of pitting in sound chips. What is going on with that right hand being stuck in gimmie mode. :tftongue

Love that Tankor repaint. would love to see that on the ssshelves. :clap

Anyone got pics of the boxart?

Hm, I'm still in doubt. On the one hand I like the tribute to G-1. Also I like the satelite mode (or whatever it is) the tank isn't bad and the extra option of a space gun is also nice.

The two major flaws in this figure is:

- the visibility of his head in alt mode

- the huge size of his left arm. I estimate that it reaches from his shoulder to the floor. That's simply to big. Maybe I should buy him and figure out a way to modify this.

(But I'm still in doubt.)

just think of the visible head parts as antennas on the alt mode as antennas on a tank. Hell, most of us will never have to see him in alt mode after he gets taken out of the box.

I'd post pics, but I can't find my digital camera :(

The gun mode is WAY better than the Satellite mode, the satellite mode is pretty pathetic in person :redface

Tank modes pretty decent, the upper half can rotate around like a real tank turret

The Robot Mode OWNS all. Its incredible :thumb

Its not that bad actually. his feet can be postitioned upward so he can stand up straight with the gun completely at his side :)
