What Energon Prowl Should Have Been...

Recommended Posts

Since the actual Energon Prowl was horrible, while Energon Bulkhead was a helicopter cursed with a lime green colouring job and Yosemity Sam mustache...

They could both have been replaced by this, my Energon Prowl!

I figure he'd be an homage to Prowl, like Optimus and Starscream, which is why he has a silver gun and a red horn pattern painted on his head.

Cool. Man if people bitched that that fig wasnt Springer, they would really Starscream if it was Prowl

I wish we got this instead of Energon Prowl.

Thats a good use of Armada Starscream/Thundercracker's head.  I look at Starscream's mug all the time, and never thought Prowl...but seeing it used makes me think otherwise...

I gotta ask...how did you get it to stay?

I only ask because I am making an Alternator Armada Starscream kitbash...and I just sanded the bottom off of the head, and I was planning to use a rubber grommet around the ball joint to make it stay...

I just figured maybe you had another method...

Anyway...awesome job!  Love the weapons and paint job!

Thanks!  I used a BW Terragator ball joint, but cut the socket part down until it fit into Starscream's head.  The real trick was drilling a hole in that would fit over the screw holder in his head.  That meant that I didn't have to worry too much about how the rest of it fit as long as that part was okay.  Here are some pics.

that is sweet... very nice job. One of the best ideas I've seen on here for a main line kitbash in my opinion.

I totally dig. And as much as I love Springer, I think the black and white suit that mold better than Springer's green would. And police cars are all over the place. A transforming police chopper would be really good law enforcement =)

Minion... you've got incredible skills. I'm terribly impressed.  Not too many kitbashes or repaints do (hence not purchasing what HasTakomy throws out) so yeah...wow.
