One thing that bothered me was Rattrap's obsession with Botanika. I mean, that's just unsevory. Was he a furry that was also a stumpf*cker, or what?

And Strika! C'mon, so only the sleek, slender, "sexy" girls are the heroes and butch, lesbian-like girls are the warmongers? Geez!

I gotta go for now but when I get back I'm going to tell you how all about how anime is racist against whites the huge eyes of stupid acting characters are meant to satarize the stupid "qui - Lo "  or in laymans terms us Cracker-Honkeys

You forgot the fact that blonde hair makes you "superior" ala Dragon Ball Z.

I'm not even gonna touch the black baseball player in DBZ. He may as well have been called Sambo.

the black body guard of the guardian of the earth was named "Mr. Popo"

does that mean he was twice as "po" as a regular black person?

Just because Spike and Chip and Carly were all white doesn't mean that Hasbro was biased against black people. Anyway you should talk to Sunbow about that; they animated the cartoon.

how can you say that?  Jazz, the truly only ethnic sounding character was Painted White!!!  It's like Hasbro was saying, "In our would, white is right"

Blaster sounded like a black disc jockey from the 70's. Cosmos kinda sounded Latino.

I always thought Cosmos sounded like a gay Canadian.

I was just glad Canada has SOME representation.

He also sounded like that bug eye'd evil scientist from the Bugs bunny cartoons, the same voice every one used for Egore,"Yesss Master. Right away!"

I didn't get so much of a Peter Lorre vibe from Cosmos.... but who knows what they were really going for with that guy.

all i can do is laugh at this thread....

i see points that i think - hey i'll contribute to this - and then there is this rant about something silly.

so um - free post cause this should be in INH.

(and i feel so lame caue i dont even remember cosmos's voice.

and oddly enough - Starscream-derogatory gay stereotype that he may have been was also very very popular. and considering the doofus quality that ALL 80's cartoon villians had to have - he was amazingly awsome! a worthy rival to megatron's brute strength. I'm just saying is all.... but, uh, then look where starscream worship has gotten me)

I always thought Starscream was awesome until I actually saw him on the cartoon, then he annoyed the hell out of me

and BTW all this stuff about Starscream being gay would never have crossed my mind ever had I not discovered the internets
