I got the BWII version for the Lio Junior, but the one thing I have to say about this toy is that it looks much more impressive combined in person than it does in the pictures.

IMHO He looks like he has down syndrum.

I wonder if they may have meant Magmatron instead. Since he was in Neo...

I'm not sure where all this news is coming from.  To my knowledge Takara has made no announcement about this toy.  I'm not saying it's a lie, but the facts don't add up.  It really makes zero sense for them to release this figure, especially when the Korean version could be found a couple years ago.  The price is also, as stated, insanely high.

This is like the BT-17 and BTA-04 (BTA-04 was never solicited by Takara even).

and yes the elephant boy is hella lame

That's because he was called Ironhide by Hasbro. Ironhide toys are by definition lame :P

(Okay, the spychanger was alright, but he was colored wrong...)

Magnaboss...now there's a "re-issue" a didn't see coming.

The combined mode is pretty good looking (even though I'm not too fond of combiners), but there it ends. The beast modes and especially the robot modes, are uninteresting to simply ugly. I don't really see the point of buying a figure because one of it's three modes looks pretty good. I didn't buy him the first time because of this and I see no reason to buy him now. Especially for that price.

Must also say that I also find this a strange choice for a BWR release. Surely there must be figures which are more logical to release in such a line-up (assuming there is even a BWR series and not just a single release). Especially considering the Primal-Megs release was some sort of 10th anniversary. It would make sense to have a 10th BW-2 (in this year?), but I would first expect a Lio Convoy vs Galvatron set.

I wonder if they may have meant Magmatron instead. Since he was in Neo...

that would make a whole lot more sence

im a bit wtf about magnaboss aswell but i missed out on this guy befor and im interested in the way this guy works so if they did remold him idd go for it

assuming this is true.... magnaboss? umm.... who cares? of all the bw figs to be reissued, why him? i thought he was less than mediocre. seeing as how hasbro ruined out chanced of a show accurate (paint job) on dinobot, i hoped they might do him. or you know.... ANYONE ELSE. i got magnasboss on sale, and i still felt cheated.

Magnaboss is one of my favorite combiners, but it hardly warrents a reissue. Most people don't even know what it is, as is evidenced by the posts in this topic. Kind of a weird choice for the next reissue, and one that I am going to skip, but a good figure overall.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Well it is a Japanese reissue, not a US one...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Is this in the same "reissue series" as their Primal and Megs set?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

yeah, "Beast Wars Reborn" is the name Takara's using

this gives me an opp to pick him up ,sinse i passed the first time
