I rearranged my collection shelf pretty good.  Have the variants of Sunstreaker and Sideswipe standing in sequence.  Its a shame, I had a repro sideswipe gun made in yellow and the damn handle broke.  Was a lot nicer with the Yellow Sideswipe then plain white. 

 

Also had black gun and missile made, but the missile does not sit in the launcher properly.  Black gun looks good with the G2.

first off, awsome shot, gotta love a shelf full of diaclones and pre TF's. secondly, wow, 95% of them seemed so new and shiny i hate you. Thirdly seeing as you have so many diaclones and stuff, do you have any extra catalouges or anything?

I'm only collecting French pre-transformers (Aka DIACLONE by Joustra).

short answer ErikB, no. 

 

A lot of them came with no books, or instructions with a catalog on side 2 (like Blue Bluestreak...not that I have one, I have the black hood version instead...)

 

Sorry.  I was lucky I got most of these years and years ago.  Back when I had money and an abundance of free time. 

 

Heck, a few of them came with missing weapons and drivers (TraS of course did not come with drivers, but the Skids came with the little scooters that for some reason were deemed not swallowable, while the drivers were?)

 

Jousta, I have scans of those pages, I blew up and translated into English.  I try to stay away from them, because then its another series I would have to start collecting...

 

I am however remined that Jousta Diaclone had Browning? 

ok, i was lucky enough to get a multi-force 14 with a diaclone booklet and have been looking for others, I liked the artwork in them. joustra was the french diaclone line right? i was unaware they came with comics, now i know, lol.

Indeed, Diaclone by Joustra had Browning ... don't you reckon' my avatar & signature  : :tfmad  ?

He was named "Robocolt", and was a "traitor" ( a spy ) ...

Some joustra Diaclone came with mini-comics ... the art (in the comic & on boxes) were from the Brizzi brothers, 2 French twins who now work for DreamWorks (in the US).

I luv' their art & the French Diaclone logo ...

Just to say that Joustra is a French toy brand, it was created in 1934. And they still exist, which is quite an exploit for a French toy company of that age. After the 80's, they focused more on educational games than toys...
