I'm planning a kitbash to make a Alt Rodimus... but can't decide which vehicle to make it out of...

 

The SXT-10 truck

or the Corvette.

 

I happen to like the truck idea.... since that truck its the hot rod version of said truck... and not a work truck like Optimus should be..

 

BTW- the new Rodimus will have the newest Rodimus head on it... think Energon Rodimus head... faceplate less Optimus Prime head...

 

Gold flames on truck too.

I would say first do a Hot Rod based off of the Viper coupe, then Rodimus based off the SRT-10. That way you'd have both, and I could see one evolving into the other.

Agree... though Hot rod shall have the title Hot shot... but I would use the sunstreaker so I can have the spoiler! plus its a convertable also.

Sitting on the couch I did have a though for doing Hotrod/hotshot.... since I can't really see Hot rod being a muscle car but more of a street racer... I think a repainted Prowl would work(minus the light bar ofcourse!)... since you can have the flames on the hood as the chest plate.... hahahaha!

Hey anyone can make an Alt or BT Rodimus if they want I won`t get mad. I just think it`s funny that Hasbro has released at least 3 ideas that fans came up with in the last year. The transformation scheme for my Rodimus Prime on the top of their Optimus, the transformation scheme of Nato`s Aerostar sketch in Skids, and of course Librarian`s Star Wars Transformers idea. No lawsuits from me ever guys :thumb

 

So BGC are you doing the Hotrod from Prowl or are you going to go through with the Chevy Truck Rodimus Prime idea? If you do the Integra as Hotrod then you should get a Honda truck model and make a Rodimus Prime from that. It`d definately be different.

well, i 'm working (slowly i might add) on my chevy ssr rodimus. i figured the corvette would evolve into the ssr. but it looks like i need to increase progress before someone finishes first takes credit for my idea.

the SXT-10 version of Rodimus is a go, already bought a second tracks and removed the head... will began to start repainting really soon... since the tracks head does look like Energon Rodimus's head, but in white mold.

 

Just need to come up with the 70 dollars to get transreprolabel to make custom gold flames decals for it...
