I had no idea that was the same voice actor. They sound completly different. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I accidently pointed out a third hommage

yup, it's the same guy. his Snarl voice actually sounds like a mix of his Silverbolt and Xmen Evolution Wolverine [or Dinobot, minus the accent] voices. :D

i wonder why he didn't do silverbolts voice for cybnertron, the caharacters are very similar i n the show

Not sure if you noticed another wee homage in the head as well, it has a very tiny look of Airhammer in it from Beast Wars.  I noticed it when I was in the Seibertron site.  It's very small and you need to have a good memory for every thing about Snarl's head.  Not a great TF to be honest, the gimmick is pretty rubbish and can be done without the planet chip.

am i the only one to have thought this but the Cybertron Snarl is one of the cheapest and crappiest TF's in a long time, the plastic feels like a KO and pretty much all the paint apps are crappy and and dont come close to matching the colours even on the hasbro site.

You're not alone, mate. I just got him today and am very disappointed. The paint apps are awful, (missing bits in some paces and extra bits elsewhere!), the plastic is cheap, his front left ankle is too loose to support him and it's all compounded by the fact that the colours on the figure on the back of the box are far superior! Also, the figure itself just ain't that great....

 

Such as shame as it brings together two of my favourite things - Transformers and Wolves!!
