transformers model kits

Recommended Posts

hi, among the things that arrived in the post today, was my 'grand scourge' transformers model kit. It says 'pla-kit collection' on the top.

I know there is a grand convoy version, but are there any more?

Was quite fun putting this together.... this is my first model kit... heh.

I'll show pix tomorrow. Took one or 2 but they are not coming out good :| daylight should fix that :)

they are painted in their basic prominent colors but that's pretty much it and there isn't as much detail as the actual toys (minus a few stickers that you put on your own.....even the face of the robot is a sticker)

I'm not sure, but I think there were some model kits of TF statues. I remember seeing a pic of a Rodimus (Prime) holding a matrix.

there are a ton of kits in japan in all styles and sizes. starting at g1 and going all the way to recent times.

Most if not all Kabaya toys are "model" kits, various Beast Wars ones, the one you mention has others in its series... um...

OK 1 other. I can't remember if the Hyper TFs are model kits or not.

And then there's Puzzle Rattrap.  :tflaugh

There was some LOC-esque figures released for Superlink of Grand Convoy, Galvatron and GC's Super Parts. They're weren't exactly model kits, but you had to put the wings on Galvatron..and you had to disassemble Grand Convoy to switch between the modes...and Galvatron was pretty on par with Galvatron, just had to remove the wings and reposition them. No clue about the Super Parts. By the time I realized that the boxes showed what was on the packaging, as after I got home from the convention.

Also, the candy isn't that good. It's more of a bland chewing gum.
