Small Targetmasters in G2 cartoon

Recommended Posts

Was watching the intro from the G2 version of More Than Meets The Eye and noticed something odd. I already knew Crosshairs and Pinpointer (from the Season 4 intro) were in it but not Scoop, Quickmix and Landfill.

Take a look at these shots. I guess they are from a Japanese cartoon.

Awesome! They're showcharacters! I always liked these guys.

Thought it was interesting.

I own all 3 of them, sadly all without their partners.  :tfsad

But they are neat little Transformers. Perhaps not the greatest ever made but certainly not the worst either.

Just yesterday I received G1 Gunrunner. He is missing the weapons and black backpack (try saying that 10 times fast  :tftongue ) but he does have his shell.

Not that this is saying much. His shell is huge and probably jacked up the price a lot but Gunrunner himself is a really poor toy. I would almost say Action Masters are better. They generally look better, that's for sure.

These 3 I like and it is interesting to see they made it onto tv. Sorta.

wow i wonder if they had any more plans for then back in the day

Third and final screen capture.

I had them as a kid (cheaper than the bigger TM's) and Quake ('Con tank) was my fave!

BTW - How do you "capture" DVD screens?

  • Author

The screens were captured with PowerDVD which is a DVD player for the pc.

It has an option to capture photo's.

Alternatively there are programmes that allow people to make screen capture's. I used one (forgot the name) to capture an image seen in a flash animation.
