considering how in energon they released quickstrike rather than a rotorstorm homage i'd say it's unlikely that hasbro really listens anymore

hey anybody remember that drawing of Energon Galavtron by Powermaster Jazz, its dead on to the final colors of energon Galvatron and it was posted months before Hasbro showed the final product.

considering the E-Megs mold was always meant to be a Galvatron update of sorts [evidenced in the mold details themselves, even without paint], i think this was but a logical step and hardly fan-influenced.

 

C-Megs' Galvatron colors were foreshadowed in an early concept sketch/model of the character that came out before GF started showing - people thought it was black and white, but it had red and purple accents. i recall people wishing that would be the final color scheme instead of the green/orange/silver/etc deco.

I rathe rlike the green/orange colour scheme. It really does reminds me of Unicron at first sight.

That kind of stuff [colors/repaints] were no doubt decided even months before PowermasterJazz had posted his picture. Remember, these lines are years in the making before they hit shelves out here.by the time one line hits stores they're already well on their way workin on the next one

 

 

but yeah. you'd be foolish to say that none of the TF "big guys" dont browse the boards and maybe pick up an idea or two that spawns TF toys [can you say GF Starscream? fandom cries for war within starscream, we get GF Starscream etc]

if hasbro put as much time and effort which the recolours as they did on other things i am sure there would be a bigger collection out there, but i guess it depends on takara really on what they make in any case.
